Power Station Grünenthal

In the course of the product extension of the Gruenenthal company, a new power station for steam generation had to be bulid. Because of the fact that this is a pure functional building, the architecture takes place in the facade and outside appearance.

The task was coped by using the actual power station as a two-story core of the whole building. The functional surface, containing the controlling and the auxilary areas, are constructed as an l-shaped part of the building. This part is considerably contrasting in material and colour.

The smokestack installation was build out of an steel-light weight construction and is, without being dominant, embedded into the whole ensemble.
